Item/Description: Vintage ca 1960s-1970s Tammy grown up clone 12" doll, attired in an exquisitely lovely pastel pink ball gown with floral accents.
This look-alike, Barbie-family hard plastic & vinyl doll has jointed, poseable arms and legs; side-glancing painted-on eyes, eyelashes & eyebrows; a full head of healthy, rooted reddish-/strawberry-blonde Tres-chic styled hair; coral pursed lips/closed mouth; and coral cheeks.
Her formal petal pink (? home-made) prom dress/ball gown, which is sewn on and not removable, is accented across the bodice with colorful needlework/embroidery-like flowers, and further decoratively enhanced by a deeper, rosy pink waist sash/ribbon tied in a bow. Beneath her gown is a gauzy/tulle-like white net/fishnet underskirt.
She is not wearing any shoes under her dress.
Age/Period: Vintage - ca 1960s-1970s
Manufacturer/Identification/Markings/Country of Origin: Unknown. There are no visible manufacturer’s markings on the back of her neck or head. Because her dress is sewn-on, if there are identifying marks on her back, they cannot be ascertained.
Material(s)/Format: Hard plastic body and legs; softer, vinyl-like arms and face.
Quantity: One (1)
Condition: Both doll and clothing are in excellent condition. Her rooted hair remains fully intact, and she retains strong facial coloration (her left cheek remains a bit rosier than her left). She does exhibit a modicum of not unusual surface soiling. Her dress and undergarment exhibits no tears, however there is a small faintly reddish discoloration stain on the bodice of her dress just to the right of her bust on the far right side.
