Condition: Decanter is in excellent condition, evincing no noted nicks, chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. Paint colors remain vibrant, with only 4 small paint fleck losses on the right side of his head just behind his eye. This was the result of removing some heavy-duty tape that the estate auction company had applied so as to prevent the lid separating from the remainder of the Parrot, given that approximately one-half of the cork within the lid stopper has broken off inside the decanter. There is also a very faint modicum of tape residue on the top right rear side of his hat, along with residue from the original tax stamp. The majority of the tax stamp still remains affixed to the top of the lid cap beneath more of the heavy-duty tape which we have not endeavored to remove as we do not wish to risk damaging the tax stamp beneath.
