Title   Madame Alexander Cissy, Cissette or Binnie Walker Vintage ca 1950s 14 ½” Doll Bridal-like Outfit & Veil *****PRIORITY MAIL SHIPPING INCLUDED – DOMESTIC ORDERS ONLY!*****

Seller ID   Madame Alexander Cissy Cissette Binnie Walker Doll

***PLEASE NOTE: Doll stand is for display purposes only and does not accompany this doll!

Item/Description: Vintage ca 1950s Madame Alexander hard plastic doll with jointed limbs, greenish-blue sleep eyes, and auburn/brunette/chestnut-brownish-black hair.

***We are uncertain as to whether she is a Cissy (Cissie), Cissette (Cisette), Binnie Walker, Winnie Walker OR some combination (e.g. Binnie with a Cissy face) doll, given that Cissy dolls range in size from 20"H to 21"H and this doll measures approximately 14 ½”H.

***She is almost identical in facial appearance to the 20" Cissy #2095 ca 1955 pictured on page 186 of “Doll Values Antique to Modern” book fourth edition.

***She is beautifully dressed in a very fancy and frilly special occasion girlie-girl dress (e.g. party dress, cocktail dress, bridesmaid dress, bridal gown, wedding gown, church dress, First Communion dress, Confirmation dress...) of scrumptiously pastel-hued peach, lilac, off-white and snowy white chiffon (?) with tiers/tiered layers of lace edging/trim.

***On her head is a mesh bridal-like blusher veil.

***Beneath her dress are lace-edged pantalets of a shiny taffeta-like material which fall just below her knees.

***On her feet are metallic golden snap-closure, open-work, open-toed strappy sandals of a heavy-duty paper-like material.

***There are no tags noted inside any of her clothing (her dress is stitched closed/sewn on in the back).

***She has perfectly clear sleep eyes (no yellowing) which open and close smoothly.

***Her upper eyelashes are in perfect condition, remaining stiffly, firmly, and fully fringed with painted accents. Her lower eyelashes and eyebrows are painted, as are her vibrant cherry red lips, with her mouth in a relaxed, closed position.

***Her skin tone is lovely and porcelain-like, with only a very faint blush coloration to her checks and knees.

***Her rooted hair is very thick, lush & full.

***She is not the adult-bodied doll but, rather, the young girl/teen girl body doll, with a slightly rounded belly and the beginnings of maturation in her chest area.

***Her fingernails are unpolished.

***Her feed are not high-heeled.

***She does have a belly-button.

***Her legs/feet move back and forth when her head is turned from one side to the other.

Age/Period: Vintage - ca. 1950s

Manufacturer/Identification/Markings: Base of her neck is marked “Alexander”; Doll Stand is marked "Kaiser, Chicago"

Material(s)/Format: Hard plastic

Size/Measurements:   Approximately 14 ½”H

Condition:    Very good, remaining odor-free, exhibiting no noted cracks or splits to any of her plastic. Noted condition factors are: a tiny surface plastic scuff above her right eyebrow; a plastic surface scuff on the tippy-tip of her nose; a bit of a demarcation lining around the shape of her upper lip; some surface soiling and rubbing and markings on her hands, legs and face, albeit nothing which in any way diminishes or detracts from any of her obvious aesthetic appeal or desirability as evidenced by the photos! :~).
