Seller ID   Maco Aviation 1981 Calendar Medal Coin

Item/Description:   Vintage 1981 MACO (Medallic Art Company) bronze aviation-themed commemorative calendar medal-peace medal

***Minted by “America’s oldest and largest private mint”, this stunning calendar medal is elaborately adorned with high-relief embellishments commemorating the history of aviation, with depictions of the mythological god of flight along with numerous images of aircraft-airplanes on its face side, while its obverse side depicts flying doves (the birds of “peace”) along with a 12-month calendar beneath which is the date “1981"
