Item/Description:  Vintage ca 1960s-1970s Bloodhound (Blood Hound) large porcelain dog figurine/statue with a stunning, highly-glazed finish 

 

***As if the “begging to be adopted” facial expression of this precious puppy dog figure weren’t adorable enough, additional charming detail consists of a dangling doggie-bone hanging from around this fabulous figural fellow’s neck by means of a sturdy, golden metal faux “rope”, along with a bronze-colored faux “collar” around his neck.

 

Age/Period: Vintage - ca 1960s-1970s

 

Manufacturer/Identification/Markings: Though unmarked (original paper label is no longer present), he was manufactured either in Japan or England, as were all of the 20+ other marked/labeled dog figurines which were acquired together as part of the same estate auction grouping.

 

Material(s)/Format: Porcelain ceramic.

 

Size/Measurements: 4 1/4"H x 3 ½"L

 

Condition: Near mint, evincing no noted nicks, chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, paint loss or crazing!
