Item & Subject-Matter: Vintage ca 1940s-1960s “Wert By Hand” delightfully folk art-esque in style, Pennsylvania Dutch/Amish/Quaker-motif, linen textile tea towel “print” picture, espousing the heartwarming homily-motto-saying “A Harvest of Peace Produced from a Seed of Contentment” handmade/hand made by listed artist printmaker & textile designer, Robert Darr Wert

*The quaintly charming imagery depicted in this vividly colorful textile picture is that of an elegantly lovely lady wearing a garland crown of flowers o her head and clutching a “bouquet” of wheat in the crook of her arms, while with one hand she is caressing her darling daughter who is looking adoringly at her mother by her side and with the other hand she is holding a pair of scissors. At her feet is a black cast iron bowl bountifully filled to the brim a variety of fruits and vegetables, the bevy of her “harvest”

*This lovely linen textile is as entertaining as it is decorative, and in its complementary and exquisitely matted wood frame will enhance any home’s decor with its perfectly Shabby Chic design
