Item/Description: 1998 mint condition, factory-sealed “Looney Tunes Rodeo” Hallmark School Days Lunch Boxes decorative lunchbox/lunch box-style “Numbered Edition” tin with Certificate of Authenticity (COA), depicting the marvelous imagery of some of Warner Bros. all-time greatest animation cartoon characters.
***Limited Edition Number: 1E/4563(this limited edition # is marked on a black strip that is bolted onto the underside of the tin)
***This/these lunchbox/lunch box-style tins were originally sold through Hallmark stores, with not every Hallmark store being furnished with the same variety of tins, so certain tins that were available e.g. in Phoenix, Arizona might not be available in e.g. Queens, New York, which made them instant collectibles as customers vied to obtain all of the assorted tins issued in each of the various production series from the different geographical regions throughout the United States.
There were candy tins as well as tin boxes only (with no candy included) produced in commemoration and honor of old television shows (e.g. Howdy Doody and The Munsters). There were Peanuts cartoon characters tins. There were Disney tins. There were Looney Tunes tins, etc.
***We are fortunate to have many of these various collector tins in our inventory (with quite a few still containing their original candy contents), so if you do not see what you are looking for on our web site, please feel free to contact us to inquire further - it just might be in stock but unlisted as yet!
***Delightful graphics on one of the two main larger sides of the tin depict these famous Looney Tunes characters on a Dude Ranch dressed as Cowboys:
*Bugs Bunny is bronco-riding a rearing, bucking horse, one-handedly holding onto the reins & jauntily waving his cowboy hat in the air with his other hand, while Porky Pig sits astride and Foghorn Leghorn stands beside a wooden fence, animatedly looking on
***The fabulous graphics on the other main larger side of the tin depict this other Looney Tunes character:
*Daffy Duck, his cowboy hat flying off his head, being chased by a charging angry bull, whose eyes are glazed red while smoke is pouring from his nostrils
***On one of the end sides of the tin is the Looney Tunes character imagery of:
*A cowboy hat-wearing Sylvester the cat twirling a lasso/rope in the air with his one free hand, while the remainder of the rope is wrapped/twisted all around his trapped body
***On the opposite end side of the tin is depicted:
*Yosemite Same up to some of his shenanigans antics (because the paper label covers the upper portion of this image, so we cannot describe precisely what he is in the midst of doing)
***The bottom section of the tin depicts the delightful imagery of :
*Tweety Bird storming around in the desert with cactus in the background, wagging his “widdle” finger, an assertively angry expression on his face, wearing a cowboy hat that is larger than his entire body. You can almost imagine a bubble caption saying “There’s a new sheriff in town!” ;~)
***Lastly, the top portion of this tin does not depict any character imagery.
***Enjoy this tin exactly as it is, still within its protective plastic wrap, for decorative display purposes. Or go ahead and open it up and use it to store small trinkets and treasures. It serves equally well as a clever little purse for female Looney Tunes characters fans, or as a handy-dandy handled storage carrying container for children’s crayons/matchbox cars/marbles..... (just about anything one can think of) . And not to state the obvious, but why not actually use it for storing actual lunches/meals/snacks (for yourself or the kids).
